Abstract

This exploratory study delves into the profound and historically significant relationship between the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and his grandfather, Hazrat Abdul Muttalib. This relationship, often overshadowed by the narrative of the Prophet's later life and mission, is a crucial chapter in the life of the greatest figure in Islam. Hazrat Abdul Muttalib played a pivotal role in shaping the early life of the Prophet and influencing the foundations of the Islamic faith. This research seeks to uncover the nuanced aspects of their relationship, shedding light on the formative years of the Prophet. Key areas of investigation include the familial bonds, mentorship, and spiritual guidance that Hazrat Abdul Muttalib provided to his beloved grandson. The study explores the cultural and social milieu of 6th century Mecca, where the seeds of the Islamic faith were sown and nurtured within the confines of the Hashemite clan.
