Abstract

Imam Shatbi (may Allah have mercy on him) was born in Shatbah, which is the name of a town in Andalus. There is no other religion as much as Islam is aware of human nature, Allah Almighty is fully aware of the problems and real needs of His servants. During the Period of Imam Shatabi, no one in Egypt was more skilled in the arts than him. When he read the Quran, he recited it while sitting with great humility،He Wrote extremely useful works, from which the students of religious studies quench their thirst for knowledge till today. Among the commentaries, Explanation( Sharh) Shatibiya by Jalaluddin, (Sharh )Shatibiya by Mujibuddin, and (Sharh) Shatibiya by Abu Abdullah are very famous. (Sharh) Shatibiya by Mulla Ali Qari is a scholarly( Sharh). Imam Shatibi died in Egypt in 590 Hijri. Imam Shatbi was a righteous person, truthful in speech and high in character. More than ninety commentaries of Allama Shatbi's book Shatbiyyah have been written in Arab and non-Arab languages. His writings are not long, but rather concise. In addition to Shatabiyyah, Nazimat ul-Zhar is quite famous among his works, which are often read and taught by readers, and his qasida Dalia is also famous. Imam Shatbi's life, may God's mercy be upon him, was spent in the pursuit of knowledge and religion. From the time he regained consciousness, he became engaged in the pursuit of knowledge. Many fans of his works are still present in this era, and especially the majority of those who read and teach the Holy Quran love Imam Shatabi.
