MEANINGS OF THE WORD “ASTRAY” IN SURAH AL-DUHA

Abstract

The research paper focuses on the term which deal with the connotation" (دلالة مفهوم) Astray" (الضال) in surah-al-duha)  (سورة الضحى by the method followed in this research "Qualitative and Descriptive" This term is one of the mutual manifestation terms that inclusive on more than one meanings.This research is subjected to stress for discussing the different meanings of this term in the Holy Qur'an, that the Holy Qur'an's use of the terms is unique since it is the statement of the Allah almighty. The nature of this paper desired to predicates and depends on the books of Holy Quran explanation in addition to the related theories which help in the determination and interpretation of the different meanings of this term. The research includes also a conclusion and result that the researchers has reached.
