Al Taveel and Al Mutahshbah form the Historical Perspective

Abstract

 Quranic tafsir attempts to provide elucidation, explanation, interpretation, context or commentary for clear understanding and conviction of Almighty’s will. Principally, a tafsir deals with the issues of linguistics, jurisprudence and theology. In terms of perspective and approach, tafsir can be broadly divided into two categories. There are different characteristics and traditions for each of the tafsirs representing respective schools and doctrines. This article deals with the meaning and concept of Al Taveel and Al Mutahshbah form the Historical Perspective. The method used in this research is descriptive, analytical and qualitative. At the end, finding and conclusion are drawn.
