The Concept of Good Morals in Islam and its Necessity in Modern Society

Abstract

The message of Islam is not limited to beliefs and acts of worship, but is based on moral reform and character building. The Quran and Sunnah have made good morals an essential part of faith. Modern society, which is suffering from materialism, selfishness, and moral decline, can find renewed guidance from the moral system of Islam. The purpose of this research paper is to present an analytical study of the concept of good morals in Islam, its Quranic and prophetic foundations, and its need and utility in modern society. The study proved that good morals are not only a guarantee of individual well-being but also of collective stability, justice, and human equality. In the modern world, where the moral crisis is increasing, Islamic ethics have the full potential to provide balance, peace, and spiritual peace to humanity.
