Abstract

The social teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were a modern, reformist and revolutionary personality. The reforms introduced by the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Arab society were not only a comprehensive solution to the social and moral crisis of that time, but also provide a sustainable and exemplary practical model for the social challenges of the modern era. The mission of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was actually a movement to revive justice, equality, tolerance, mercy and intellectual freedom in human society. He (peace be upon him) provided guidance in every aspect of human life, family, economic, moral, educational, etc., which took society out of stagnation and darkness and entered the era of renewal, awareness and justice. This research harmonizes the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with the requirements of the modern era in the light of the principles of human equality, collective justice, women's rights, social justice, social welfare and friendship with knowledge. Its main purpose is to clarify that the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is not merely historical but a source of timeless guidance, which even today provides guidance for social reform, moral stability, and international harmony. This research paper also highlights the aspect that the modernism of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was not a deviation in any Western sense, but a moral renewal in harmony with divine nature. Thus, his biography presents a universal model of moral, intellectual, and social salvation not only for Muslims but for all humanity.
