Amjad Javed is a multifaceted Pakistani writer, renowned for his contributions as a novelist, sufi intellectual, story writer, columnist, poet and drama writer. Born on September 27, 1965, in Hasilpur, Bahawalpur, his birth coincided with the post-war era between Pakistan and India. Initially known by his family names, Faheem Ul Haq and Amjad Aziz, he later adopted the pen name Amjad Javed. His literary career, spanning over three decades, commenced in 1988 and continues to the present day. His writings have been featured in various digests and magazines, where he crafted captivating romantic stories. Through his novels, he provides an unflinching portrayal of societal realities, boldly addressing social maladies and introducing strong female characters and practical Sufism.
