A Research Review of "Kitab al-Tahara" in Shrah Sahih Muslim (Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi)

Abstract

Muslims depend on Hadith to understand the teachings of the Holy Quran. Commentaries were written to simplify and explain the hadith so that a person can gain complete knowledge and understanding by reading them. The name of Imam Muslim bin Hajjaj al-Qashiri was prominent among the imams of hadith who worked hard and traveled far and wide to convey the valuable hadiths of the Prophet (SAW) to the Muslims in the third century Hijri. One of his books is known as "Sahih Muslim" of which many commentaries have been written. Among them "Shrah Sahih Muslim" written by Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi. Among his works, "Shrah Sahih Muslim" has a special status. Purity has a special importance in Islam. Islam enjoins the adoption of a pure religion and purity. Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi has highlighted various aspects related to "Kitab al-Tahara" in Shrah Sahih Muslim. There are Baabs in this book, out of which a research review of some of the most important Baabs of purity has been presented.
